Originally I had intended to work in theatre having spent most of my youth and adolescence working in amateur theatre but when the time came to choose photography seemed equally enjoyable and more likely to provide a living.
Over the years I’ve worked in most aspects of social photography but my speciality is in studio work. I have a love of lighting that is manifested in carefully planned, effective use of light tailored to each individual shoot.

Bio:

SiobhanSiobhan lives in a nice flat in sunny, Edinburgh, where she lives with her daughter, twin sons, and a zombie sunflower. She has been doodling since she could hold a pen, designing since she could work a mouse and getting paid for it for several years. When she’s not doing that she’s playing lead guitar and doing some singing in Brightside. Knits a lot, and is freakishly adept with her toes. She also has a rather spiffing selection of illustrations, paintings, and toys she’s produced for folks, and is rather good at drawing people, animals, and creating fantasy worlds. Is equally skilled with both digital and traditional media, and has a lot of fun with textiles. If you like her work, she’ll draw you a pretty picture, or make you a toy. She’s nice like that.

Rob McDougall

URL:

www.RobMcDougall.com

Skills:

Edinburgh based award winning professional photographer Rob McDougall specialises in creative corporate, PR (Public Relations), commercial, editorial and portrait photography throughout Scotland and the UK. With his roots in photojournalism Rob has the imagination, flair and sensitivity to create stunning images on time and on budget every time.

Bio:

I am an award winning professional photographer specialising in creative corporate, editorial, public relations (PR) and portrait photography. Based in Edinburgh, I work across Scotland and the UK. I am an expert in lighting techniques and have extensive knowledge of the media industry.

But I don’t hide behind lights and equipment. Taking a good picture is as much about people skills as about technical ability. Perhaps it’s my background – I used to be a teacher – that helps me get the best out of the subject. I also work quickly. I get the picture and send it out fast – to the client and the media. Images can be wired to national and regional press within minutes.

And I know what picture editors are looking for. I began work as a staff photographer for the Scotsman Publications, providing high quality images to Edinburgh Evening News, The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday. I treat each client as a long term relationship. You may be a business start up or an established large organisation. What matters is trust and understanding. You trust me to deliver and I understand your aims. We work together.

My long standing clients include VisitScotland, Taylor Wimpey, Historic Scotland and Weber Shandwick. We’ve been together for over three years so I must be doing something right. As the official photographer for Homecoming Scotland 2009, I documented events across the length and breadth of Scotland. In August last year I was the official photographer for the Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival. But don’t just take my word for it… visit the Clients & Testimonails area on my website.

And finally…

The prices I give are inclusive of my time to do the job, image editing and high resolution photographs on CD. There are no hidden costs.

Contact me for a free quote or to talk about your next photography project.

Skills:

At G3 Creative, when we undertake a brochure design project, the first thing we reach for is not the computer, a camera or a telephone. The first thing we reach for is our thinking cap. Good graphic design achieves a delicate balance. The lateral thought that sparks great ideas must be weighed against a rigorous logic to ensure that each project achieves its specific objectives. The energy and passion of youthful imagination must be tempered with the wisdom and experience of older heads. The artistic impulse to the perfect brochure design or flyer must be moulded to serve the appropriate business purpose. At G3 Creative in Glasgow we have assembled a team that balances all these elements. Bright young designers work under experienced creative direction. And all that talent is channeled towards achieving the optimum marketing effect for your business. Whether it’s a tri-fold 6 page 3rd A4, a logo design, branding or a full colour brochure design, our objective is clear – creating sales for your business at affordable prices and help you do business, better.
To find out more about graphic design and our services visit us online or call G3 today.
